Mihir-Rabari opened a new pull request, #13902: URL: https://github.com/apache/gravitino/pull/13902
### What changes were proposed in this pull request? Upgrades `org.lance:lance-core` from 6.0.0 to 12.0.0 in `gradle/libs.versions.toml`, the version #13803 asks for. Since lance-core 12 declares newer `lance-namespace-core` / `lance-namespace-apache-client` transitives than the namespace API the REST server serves (the build pins `lance-namespace` at 0.7.5), I excluded those transitives from the lance-core `testImplementation` dependency so the test classpath stays on the same namespace API as the server — the same pattern the build already applies to the main classpath in `core/build.gradle.kts`. I also updated the comment there to reflect the new version. lance-core 12 also pulls in `io.opentelemetry:opentelemetry-api` at compile scope, so the bundled-components list in `LICENSE.bin` gains an entry for it. ### Why are the changes needed? The Lance REST server was pinned six major versions behind current lance-core, and #13803 asks for 12 specifically. Fix: #13803 ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change? No. ### How was this patch tested? - `./gradlew :core:compileJava :catalogs:catalog-lakehouse-generic:compileJava :lance:lance-common:compileJava :lance:lance-rest-server:compileJava` — BUILD SUCCESSFUL - `./gradlew :lance:lance-rest-server:compileTestJava :catalogs:catalog-lakehouse-generic:compileTestJava` — BUILD SUCCESSFUL - `./gradlew :lance:lance-rest-server:test --tests "org.apache.gravitino.lance.common.ops.gravitino.*" --tests "org.apache.gravitino.lance.service.*"` — BUILD SUCCESSFUL, 108 tests, 0 failures - `./gradlew rat` — BUILD SUCCESSFUL - Verified with `./gradlew :lance:lance-rest-server:dependencies --configuration testRuntimeClasspath` that `lance-namespace` still resolves to 0.7.5 throughout after the upgrade. Docker-tagged integration tests were not run locally (no Docker in my dev environment); leaving those to CI. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
