This is still possible: two filesets can register the same empty directory, or one can use a new child path under another fileset’s location. #13506 adds a non-empty-location check for `MANAGED` creation, but does not detect overlaps between filesets. It therefore does not resolve this issue, which should remain open. A dedicated reverse index is one implementation option, but we do not need to make it a prerequisite at this stage. Locations are already stored in fileset metadata; the lookup strategy can be decided based on the scope of overlap checks and the expected scale. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
