Around 99% of the added lines come from the generated `uv.lock`. It records resolved transitive dependencies, version markers and artifact hashes for reproducible developer installs, following the practice in [Unity Catalog](https://github.com/unitycatalog/unitycatalog/blob/main/clients/python/uv.lock) and the [Databricks SDK](https://github.com/databricks/databricks-sdk-py/blob/main/uv.lock).
