### What would you like to be improved? JDBC connectors that combine JDBC and REST metadata currently need to duplicate the common load flow or perform repeated metadata reads. They also cannot validate backend object kind after local ALTER SQL validation but before borrowing the execution connection without copying the whole alter path. ### How should we improve? Add a protected request-local builder-enrichment load overload and a default-no-op pre-ALTER target hook, preserving current connector defaults.
