### Version main branch ### Describe what's wrong ColumnEntity uses the generic 128-character entity-name limit and relational column_name fields are VARCHAR(128). Loading an existing external table with a longer valid top-level column name fails during implicit registration. ### Error message and/or stacktrace A native column of 129 characters fails entity validation; increasing only Java validation would instead fail the relational insert. ### How to reproduce 1. Create a native external table with an ASCII column name of 129–300 characters in a backend that accepts it (for example Iceberg). 2. Load it through Gravitino. 3. Observe that registration fails even though source metadata can be read. ### Additional context Use a separate 300-character column limit and expand H2/MySQL/PostgreSQL install and upgrade scripts; retain the 128-character limit for other entities and document existing 2.0 SNAPSHOT upgrade/rollback. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
