yuqi1129 opened a new pull request, #14489:
URL: https://github.com/apache/gravitino/pull/14489

   ### What changes were proposed in this pull request?

Enforce the 63-byte UTF-8 name limit, including explicit create/alter index
names, and omit the CONSTRAINT name clause when an add-index request has no
name.

   ### Why are the changes needed?

Identifier validation counts characters instead of PostgreSQL UTF-8 bytes.
Names longer than 63 bytes can be accepted and silently truncated at the
source. An unnamed add-index alter instead creates a constraint literally named
null, so a subsequent unnamed index can collide in the same schema.

   Fixes #14488

   ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change?

Overlong names fail before DDL. Unnamed indexes receive source-generated
names and do not collide across tables.

   ### How was this patch tested?

Capability and SQL-generation unit tests and a PostgreSQL Docker regression
for unnamed indexes on different tables. All selected tests passed on
apache/gravitino main (90da2776a): 26 tests, zero failures. Spotless passed.
