On `main`, `FromIcebergType` already maps Iceberg v3 types (`timestamp_ns` / `timestamptz_ns` with zone, `geometry` / `geography` with CRS, `variant`, and `unknown` → `NullType`), with unit coverage in `TestConvertUtil` and integration coverage in `CatalogIcebergBaseIT`.
