I see this is now assigned to @lasdf1234 and covered by #14552, so please keep that as the implementation path rather than assigning a parallel fix to me. I read the current diff at `5900bc452da07b6d7fe2147e37635a3e21bceb25` and the review/follow-up. The client serialize/parse round-trip and residual evaluation coverage are particularly useful here. If an additional test contribution would help, I can focus on a real-client fixture comparing returned rows with client-side planning after partition evolution, including position/equality deletes and an empty filtered result. That would complement the helper/path assertions and exercise the rewritten file/delete metadata through the reader. I have only reviewed the source/diff so far, and haven't independently run those scenarios or established a new defect.
