There have been other requests from folks to be able to disable clipboard
redirection, and, from an administrative point of view, I can definitely see
the desire to control this. I had not thought of the directional aspect of it
- allowing pasting into a session but preventing data from being copied out -
but I agree with Amarjeet that there are general use cases where you'd want to
provide remote access and, at the very least, make it more difficult to extract
data. Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
