Nick Couchman commented on GUACAMOLE-448:
-----------------------------------------
So, based on the FreeRDP issue listed above, combined with other's input, here,
it sounds like there would need to be three parameters implemented:
- bitmap-cache
- offscreen-cache
- glyph-cache
to fully address these concerns.
However, is this only for troubleshooting, or is this something you expect to
do in an operational setting? If it's for troubleshooting you could recompile
guacd with the options you need to modify and run the modified version during
troubleshooting operations - you could even keep that version running a
different TCP port and point connections at that instance temporarily in order
to troubleshoot the issues.
If it is something that needs to be available during normal operation or that
you need to be able to toggle those individual options in a connection, please
advise.
> There is no parameter for controlling whether bitmap caching is used.
