Not exactly. There is no stripping issue. What you're seeing is Notepad not
understanding the newline characters within the clipboard, however the newline
characters are definitely there.

Yes. There needs to be an upper limit. If you do not set an upper limit, then
the clipboard can grow without bound. Allowing users to use unlimited memory is
inherently dangerous.
