Michael Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-448:

... it gives patches and other issues.
{quote}

If RDP servers are known to sometimes display buggy behavior when caching is
enabled, that is good reason for having parameters that disable this.

{quote}
... if bandwidth is not an issue then it is required to be available to make it
configurable so that users can work without any issues.
{quote}

Bandwidth is really not a factor in the issue at hand. If RDP servers are known
to be buggy in this way, then that alone indicates that these parameters should
be added (the same reasoning behind the "swap red/blue" option for VNC). The
need for these parameters comes from the existence of the fault in the RDP
server, not from a hypothetical user's desire to use up more bandwidth because
they can.

> As RDP servers sometimes exhibit bugs in their handling of caching, Guacamole
> should provide parameters which disable handling of that aspect of RDP. Such
> parameters are provided by other RDP clients, including the Microsoft client,
> and it makes sense for Guacamole to maintain parity here.
