Michael Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-286:
------------------------------------------
If you're connecting from Chrome on Windows at the time, you might be
encountering:
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=31463
Chrome has a Windows-specific bug where blank cursors are rendered as giant
black boxes. It may be possible to work around this by modifying Guacamole to
explicitly hide the cursor rather than attempting to set a blank cursor image.
> VNC, SSH - black rectangle cursor flash
> ---------------------------------------
>
> Key: GUACAMOLE-286
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-286
> Project: Guacamole
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 0.9.12-incubating
> Reporter: Jonathan
> Priority: Minor
>
> When connecting to a remote Windows or Linux machine via VNC or SSH, the
> cursor will sometimes flash as a black rectangle.
> I'm not sure on the exact conditions to reproduce this except this did not
> happen on RDP connections for me. But it is frequent enough to file a bug
> report.
