Ioannis Canellos updated HELIX-70:
----------------------------------
Attachment: HELIX-70.patch
I am attaching a first draft of the patch.
The patch adds:
i) OSGi metdata to helix artifacts.
ii) Embeeds PathUtils which is not exported by ZooKeeper.
iii) Fixes a potential classloading issue for OSGi.
The main issue, that I currently have is that the ZooKeeper client used, is not
OSGi ready and a pull request I've sent months ago hasn't been processed (the
project seems dead).
Anyway, this is not directly a helix issue, but users that use helix will have
to wrap the zk client.
An alternative would be to also provide an uberbundle that will embeed the zk
client.
Thoughts?
