Code0x58 commented on issue #2924: Py3 heronpy URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-heron/pull/2924#issuecomment-581181163 It looks like that PR and its parent exclusively do python 2 to 3 changes on scripts, then set the python interpreter in those scripts to python 3. I did a very quick rebase and look around, and I'm not sure that the goals of this PR have been met by give given PR (or previous merges) - but they probably help a great deal and may unblock work on this. I think around the time I lost steam on this there was a fairly big issue where you could only use one version of python with Bazel, which may still be the case, but if python3 is being used in the workspace then this could probably continue. I probably won't have time to get back into this project for a while, but if python3 is confirmed as the one being in use in the workspace then that would probably coax me in sooner.
