DavisBroda commented on issue #860: Unit tests fail when run on IBM SDK URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-hudi/issues/860#issuecomment-526321219 To give more context, hudi is being used as one component of a larger codebase that is intended to run on multiple environments, one of which uses the IBM SDK as a JVM. After hudi was included in the codebase, behaviour became inconsistent between environments using OpenJDK and IBM SDK, which was eventually traced to inconsistent hudi behaviour between environments. While investigating this, the hudi unit test failures seemed the clearest demonstration of this inconsistency between JVMs, and so was used when creating the issue.
