Had updated the pr by double check empty checkpoint in `KafkaOffsetGen#checkupValidOffsets`. > I'd appreciate it if we took into consideration how checkpoint is handled in a general source agnostic way and also fix this issue.. This is good idea as bvaradar suggested, but it seems impossible, because different data streams handle empty checkpoint in different way.
