## *Tips* - *Thank you very much for contributing to Apache Hudi.* - *Please review https://hudi.apache.org/contribute/how-to-contribute before opening a pull request.* ## What is the purpose of the pull request Currently both `HoodieListData` and `HoodieMapPairData` operate eagerly on their payloads meaning that each transformation is immediately applied. This has following performance drawbacks: 1. It always executes full transformation regardless of whether the whole sequence will be required, potentially wasting quite a bit of compute. 2. It also might be the cause of OOMs if the sequence potentially could be larger than available memory (where caller might be relying on assumption that it would be performing stream processing) Instead, in this PR: - `HoodieListData` is rebased to hold `Stream` - New `HoodieListPairData` is replacing `HoodieMapPairData` to provide for lazy stream-processing semantic ## Brief change log See above ## Verify this pull request This pull request is already covered by existing tests, such as *(please describe tests)*.
