Let me re-review the RFC tonight @YannByron . On @danny0405 's point above, as long as we can hide the implementation details (CDC log blocks or not) from the user and support these two modes, it's fine by me. In the case, where we don't know I/U/D upfront, having the compactor write out CDC blocks seems to achieve standardization, but we have to write code to handle CDC queries before compaction is done anyway. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
