oh my bad. we are running only spark3 in S3. for spark2, looks like we were running our integ tests w/ hdfs storage. if I am not wrong, we could not locate the right version of hadoop-aws jar and aws-java-sdk-bundle jar to be used with open source spark2 in EMR.
