@txl2017 can you clarify more about this proposal in terms of real world use case pls? the first impression about TTL is deleting data, so are you suggesting expiring and deleting records from a hudi table by itself? Based on what you described, sounds like you are suggesting time-sensitive custom logic to run (e.g. updating a field) during compaction ? this case sounds very specific and should be handled by custom payload implementation -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
