I am facing the same problem, but I am still curious about the reason behind it. I had a pipeline running for days ATM, and the checkpoint was triggered by the k8s operator every 6 hours. And every checkpoint after that would result in failure: `Checkpoint expired before completing`. Tunning up resources could resolve the issue.
