@ad1happy2go we are using that config on that column (keygen.timebased.output.dateformat='yyyy/MM/dd') because we need the table to be partitioned by yyyy/MM/dd on that column. However, we would like the value to be read as LongType. So, we need the partition format to be different from the stored/read format.
