Rahil Chertara updated HUDI-7233:
---------------------------------
Description:
Currently there are two for users to start the hudi cli, as what we mention in
the docs here [https://hudi.apache.org/docs/cli/]
When we launched the hudi cli bundle, we wanted to support both options as we
wanted to collect any issues from community as community started to use the
bundle. The reason we want users to use the cli bundle is that currently the
orignial hudi cli module creates a lib folder where it copies several
transitive dependencies (some of which we are not sure if truly its need for
cli related functionality). The main issue is that several of these
dependencies are usually outdated and get marked as CVE
The bundle however is much leaner and should reduce the reported number of
CVES, thus it would be good for us to start to move users to CLI Bundle.
