THere should be a root cause exception which should have been logged after this. Can you provide that information along with the full stack trace and version information and open a new GH issue. Regarding hive-bundles, all classes needed for hive syncing is already part of hudi-spark-bundle. BTW, I see that you are using Spark 3. We have an ongoing PR to support Spark 3.
