As of today, hoodie spark SQL integration code is tightly coupled with spark V1
session catalog `org.apache.spark.sql.SparkSession#catalog`. It makes HMS
compatible catalog a must have dependency for any use cases that requires
persistent catalog storage.
In this RFC, we are exploring if we can decouple the spark catalyst from
hoodie-spark integration code and provides a replacement of non-HMS compatible
implementation while all supported SQL cmd are still functional.
