We found 2 critical issues w/ b/w compatible write support for MOR table while
writing in tbl v 6 using 1.0 binary.
We wanted to review full design and format changes from tbl v 6 to tbl v8 and
ensure there are no data consistency issues across all write operations, all
query types (snapshot, time travel, incremental)
Note:
also check if there are any gaps around time travel query after upgrading table
to v 8. bcoz, older file slices could be written using version6. but once we
upgrade the table to v 8, all file slicing and naming could be taking new path
assuming tbl v 8.
We can move this to a separate Jira if need be.
