We have tests that validate the [decimal
field](https://github.com/apache/hudi/blob/8b7bd1391bd61600d23b8defed4cdc7d789502d1/hudi-spark-datasource/hudi-spark/src/test/scala/org/apache/hudi/functional/ColumnStatIndexTestBase.scala#L68)
min/max but not data skipping. I will see if I can enhance one of the existing
tests.
