Hey @borislitvak we have been working on a project that you may be interested in. [Project Nessie](https://projectnessie.org) is primarily designed to support cross table transactions and git-like branching on Data Lakes. A side effect of that is that it supports multiple Delta writers on S3 and Iceberg (w/o requiring Hive as mentioned in apache/iceberg#1912). Would love your feedback!
