In general, the {{hoodie.database.name}} should not be tied to the base path
and the catalog should store the <database,table_name> to base path mapping.
However, I see a potential bigger issue of inconsistency regarding how
{{hoodie.database.name}} is used (introduced by
https://github.com/apache/hudi/pull/4083/files). We should revisit how this
table config is updated and used.
