If I am reading the read optimized table, should it only show ID=2 where __op is NULL since compaction hasn't been executed at that time? Why do I see ID=2 where __op = D in the read optimized table? AWS support was able to reproduce this issue with EMR 5.31.0 and Hudi 0.6.0. I also tried running the same script using Hudi 0.7.0, but experienced the same issue.
