This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. Findings: The `hoodie.assume.date.partitioning` config (`HoodieMetadataConfig.ASSUME_DATE_PARTITIONING`) has been removed from the codebase, and the current website docs no longer reference it — `website/docs/configurations.md` only lists the distinct, still-valid `hive_sync.assume_date_partitioning` Hive-sync option. The documentation cleanup requested here is complete on the live site. (Historical versioned docs, e.g. version-0.14.0, retain it by design as frozen release snapshots.)
