This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. Findings: This appears to be addressed — the Schema Evolution documentation page now documents the commands this issue asked for. `ALTER TABLE ... DROP COLUMN|COLUMNS` is covered under "Deleting Columns" and `ALTER TABLE ... RENAME COLUMN ... TO ...` under "Renaming columns" (website/docs/schema_evolution.md), along with the "Adding Columns" and "Altering Columns" sections.
