This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. This is a January 2023 Azure CI failure (JIRA HUDI-5600) of testHoodieIndexer, surfacing a generic HoodieException / IllegalArgumentException from HoodieActiveTimeline.transitionState during a metadata-table commit, with no standalone reproduction.
