This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-2175). This request (union/merge of differing producer schemas with default injection for missing columns) had PR #4335 (closed unmerged) and PR #7859 (still Open, never merged); the JIRA remains Open. Add-column schema evolution and `hoodie.datasource.write.reconcile.schema` cover parts of this use case, but the full multi-producer schema-union behavior described here is not fully implemented and no merged fix exists.
