This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-2281). The originating PR #3417 (adding `HoodieSnapshotMetadataClient` / `HoodieIncrementalMetadataClient`) is still Open but has been inactive since 2021 and was never merged; the JIRA remains Open.
