This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage and is being closed as stale. The description in full is: *"When converting column stats or other metadata to the metadata records to be written to metadata table, some optimization can be made."* There is no measurement, no named method, no target, and no definition of done - so there is nothing a contributor can pick up or verify against. No commit or PR carries HUDI-4076, and the JIRA last moved 2023-03-10. The conversion path has also been reworked since: column stats now flow through `ColumnStatsIndexRawKey` and `metadata/stats/ValueMetadata.java`, neither of which existed when this was filed, so the ticket no longer points at identifiable code. Closing as stale.
