This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage and is being closed as stale. The description is empty, so the entire ticket is its title - *"Checkpoint management for incremental queries and lag reporting"*. That names two separate capabilities, scopes neither, and gives no API, metric, or definition of done. The JIRA last moved 2022-07-19. No commit or PR carries HUDI-4423, and there is no checkpoint-management or lag-reporting surface in release-1.2.0 that this could be said to have become. Closing as unactionable.
