This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage and is being closed as stale. The description is empty, so the ask is only the title - *"validate the coming configs and table name when create an external table"*. It does not say which configs, what makes a table name invalid, or what validation should do on failure. The JIRA last moved 2023-03-10. No commit or PR carries HUDI-4486. To be clear about what that does and does not prove: with no named config there is nothing to check for in release-1.2.0 either, so this is being closed as unactionable rather than as unfixed.
