Thanks for raising this. This is now done - PR #19573 (*docs(streamer): document checkpoint v2 reset for the Hudi incremental source*) merged to `asf-site` on 2026-08-19 and its description reads "Closes #16813. (JIRA: HUDI-8927.)" It documents how `--checkpoint` is interpreted for the Hudi incremental source at table version 8+, which is what this issue asked for. Since it merged to `asf-site` it is already live on the docs site rather than waiting on a release.
