This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-8553). **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.** PR #12732 is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed for this ticket. The `status:pr-available` label is accurate and should stay. Two earlier attempts, PR #12612 and PR #12716, are both closed without merging - #12732 is the third and only live one.
