This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-9062). **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.** PR #12861 (`[HUDI-9062] Make meta sync tools use global Hudi configs`) is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed.
