This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-7544). **Findings: still open. The linked PR is merged, but it is not a fix for this.** - #9209 - `[HUDI-6539] New LSM tree style archived timeline` (HUDI-6539), merged 2023-08-29 Each carries a different JIRA key from this ticket - they are the change this issue was filed to follow up on. Worth noting this is systematic in this batch: of 55 linked PRs checked, **not one merged PR carries its own issue's JIRA key**. And no commit on `master` references HUDI-7544.
