This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-7649). **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.** PR #11069 (`[HUDI-7649] during inline clustering, update the hudi schema retrieval method to …`) is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed.
