This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-8163). **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.** PR #12608 (`[HUDI-8163] Refactor UnMergedLogHandler with iterators`) is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed.
