This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-8226). **Findings: still open, and this one is unusually stale - worth a close-or-commit decision.** The linked PR #4018 (`[HUDI-8226][DOCS] Add the GooseFS integration document`) was opened on **2021-11-17** and is **closed unmerged**. So the `status:pr-available` label points at an abandoned PR roughly five years old, and I am removing it. **One distinction worth making explicit, because the title reads like missing support:** the *code* support for GooseFS did land. The scheme is registered in `hudi-io/src/main/java/org/apache/hudi/storage/StorageSchemes.java`, added by commit `826414cff5ad` (`[MINOR] Add the Schema for GooseFS to StorageSchemes`, #3982). So Hudi already accepts GooseFS paths - what is missing is only the documentation page. Two practical notes: - `apache/hudi` has no `docs/` or `website/` tree, so this deliverable lives in the separate site source and cannot be completed from this repository. - Given the age, the abandoned PR, and that GooseFS is a fairly niche accelerator, this looks like a candidate for either closing or finding an owner rather than carrying indefinitely.
