@yihua Can you please fix the failing CIs, restarted a few times and this test prolly caught a regression. Either pin the regression behaviour and explicitly call it out as incorrect which will be fixed in a separate issue, or fix it together with this issue? Another thing is, this test only covers AVRO record type, can we also test the SPARK record type branch?
