Follow-up: this fixed the proximate cause, but the leak reproduced only because `SparkClientFunctionalTestHarness` runs without `HoodieSparkSessionExtension`; with the extension the commit-time span is enforced at plan level by the rule from #10225. The push-down here acts as a row filter only on the non-vectorized reader.
