voonhous opened a new pull request, #20374: URL: https://github.com/apache/hudi/pull/20374
### Describe the issue this Pull Request addresses The PR title and commit co-author checks are about to run as steps of the existing `validate-pr` job instead of as their own jobs (follow-up PR). Required contexts are read from master's `.asf.yaml`, so that follow-up would be blocked by `validate-pr-title` and `validate-commit-coauthor`, which no workflow reports once it lands. This PR has to merge first. ### Summary and Changelog - `.asf.yaml`: drop `validate-pr-title` and `validate-commit-coauthor` from the required status checks. `validate-pr` stays required. ### Impact Until the follow-up merges, a bad PR title or a Claude co-author trailer still shows a red check but no longer blocks merging. After it merges, both checks fail `validate-pr`, which is required, so they block again. ### Risk Level low. It only loosens branch protection, briefly, for two checks that keep running. ### Documentation Update none ### Contributor's checklist - [x] Read through [contributor's guide](https://hudi.apache.org/contribute/how-to-contribute) - [x] Enough context is provided in the sections above - [ ] Adequate tests were added if applicable -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
