Ready for another review pass. The follow-up removes per-write manifest-frontier advancement: postings and source-instant audit markers are maintained together, while strict read validation is opt-in/default off. Policy precedence and required bootstrap-baseline validation are covered by focused tests. Base remains bootstrap + read path; maintenance is in the stacked PR. Latest vector-only Spark 4.0 validation: common 13/13 and planner 9/9 passed; combined E2E finished 6 tests with one retry-dependent inflight-bootstrap pass. That concurrent config-read exception is explicitly recorded in the stacked PR; the separate shared config-reader candidate fix is excluded.
